To be honest, I dont think in those days people actually lived there. The known world was based in the middle East.

Australia was thoroughly neglected too, perhaps God was a racist and didn’t want His son around the aboriginal people, or the Swedish.

Jesus appeared to be as a Jew. If He had been to all parts of the world, then why and how His followers should go to the ends of the earth.

Jesus wore sandals. It is too cold in the Nordic countries to wear sandals.

His mission was only to the children of Israel at that time. His plan is to bless all the nations of the world through his chosen people. They become his emissaries. He did visit other colonies of Israelites though. The Book of Mormon tells of his visit to an Israelite colony in America. Christ told them that he had yet other “sheep” to visit.

Because the story concerns Israel first. God teaches lessons to the nations using Israel as an example. The nations were given the good news of J C after His resurection.

Seriously, though, we do have summers as well. It’s not always snowing…

They did not know it existed, and it had a very tiny population. (still has, for that matter.) And didn’t the nordic countries have their own disciple? Vaguely remember reading something like that!
Peace.

…If you read the Scriptures (and obviously you don’t) you’d realize that Jesus gave specific directions to go into all the world…

Remember Jesus was a carpenter.
When he heard that the IKEA company had started in Sweden, he said…Damn those Swedes, they will put me out of business……so he swore he would never visit Sweden

Jesus never travelled more than a couple of hundred miles or so from His birthplace.
Sweden and Finland did not yet exist in Jesus’ day anyway.
In the great commision, Jesus commands His followers to bring the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. Today that would include Sweden and Finland, among other places.

There is nothing wrong with Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and the Faeroe Islands. These countries have a protestant Christianity and there are Evangelical Christian denominations in these countries, but you have to realize that religion does not mean a thing in their private lives. Most Nordics support the fact that religion is a private matter and I agree with them. I agree with them, I am a French born-Congolese and Agnostic. Religion is a private matter. Most Swedes and other Nordics aren’t religious. In their eyes Religion is the enemy of freedom.
