In Italy Turin is a very nice, “out of the beaten path”, fantastic city, very near to Milan and the Aosta region which is gourgeous.
In Spain I would say Sevilla or Barcelona, or if you have the chance the night life of Ibiza is the best.

First, Id go to Venice. Its Awesome! Doesnt have to be romantic. I went twice with just friends. And had a blast. And it might not be here forever!
Florence. Its a great medium, charming, quaint city. Lots of bars and clubs. Only thing is there are a lot of Americans. But there is so much to do and see, cultural wise.
Close by is Luca, Pienza, Pisa. Hard to get to if you don’t have a car, but well worth it.
I loved the Amalfi Coast, but it is more romantic. Gorgeous. (Pompei, Sorrento, Capri, Naples)
Spain: Go to Barcelona (Do Not Miss!), Mardrid, Sevilla, Segovia, Gijon in the North on the beach is a great town away from tourism for the most part. Def go to Ibiza if you like to party. 24/7 Party Island!
It all depends on how far you want to travel between places (Spain is HUGE) how much you’re willing to travel out of the 2-3 weeks and how much you wanna spend.

Buy a lonely planet or another form of traveling book for Western Europe or individual ones for those countries. Read all the different towns and descriptions. Make a list of those that sound like something you have to do and see. Narrow it down.

Have fun! Europe is great. Especially espana and italia. my favorites.

Don’t know much about London but was just recently in Italy and Spain.

In Italy, Florence was probably the best of the places I went to. The Uffitzi Museum has some great art and if you climb to the top of Duomo you can get a spectacular view of the city. I think Florence is the typcial image many people have of Italy in terms of the archetecture and feel of Italy.

In Spain Barcelona and Madrid were both great. Madrid is known in particular for its nightlife. The areas around Bilbao, Tribunal, Alonso Martinez Moncloa, Sol and Las Huertas near the historical sites are good spots. In the daytime you can visit the Royal Palace, the world-reknowned Prado art museum, among other sites.

Barcelona is also beautiful. Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia is a must see along with the park he helped design – Guell Park. Their designs are very unique.
