THE NIGHTWATCHMAN (TOM MORELLO) “ROAD I MUST TRAVEL”

Posted on 18. Jan, 2010 by admin in News travel

Musician and political/social reformist blackamoor Morello’s stark newborn medium as The Nightwatchman, ‘One Man Revolution,’ (April 24) is a dark, imperative semblance of a concern in turmoil.

    So many great artists that have moved me so deeply from Van Gogh, to Steinbeck, and Morello. None of them had politics that I completely understood or considered endorsing. It’s never been relevant. Why try cognitive interpretation of something so evocative? Why question the artists? Thank heavens they exist!

    @TheHaz69 shut the fuck up yourself. what mileswilldo probably means is that che guevara did a lot of bad things, but there are truly both sides to a story about the pros and cons about the man. each person has there story and beliefs i guess.probably just stating his opinion about che guevara and thats fine so dont go about judging people in their beliefs.

    Tom does not support the likes of che guevara what he does support is not blindly following what you are told to follow by the likes of gw bush blair and all the other liars who try to convince us that war war is a better option than jaw jaw, Winston churchill said it better than i ever could so sorry if i misquoted

    Many people use him as a symbol of revolution. But you’ll have to ask Tom himself.

    @MileswillDo this goes on forever, if you dont know much about che guevara besides wht they told you in grade school or from TV or people, do the research yourself. There are people on both sides of this debate.

    I don’t understand, so does Tom support Che Guevara? Cause if he does I hope he realizes all the terrible things that man has done…

    Serj Tankian’s lead vocalist, right?

    Anyway, this is indeed something that would have been impossible for RATM, it’s something the fans just wouldn’t dig, and although it’s nothing for RATM to care about anything, this wouldn’t do too well with them… Audioslave… Might be, after some persuading, because they were musically way better. RATM was just being angry, the music was only there to support the anger. Audioslave gave the music top priority… Great song by Nightwatchman Morello!!!

    Yea Tom can actully see, whitch I never could see him singing stuff like this while bieng in RATM and Audio slave and being friends with Serj Tankian’s Lead vocalist. Its kinda like folk music but i ma folk music fan myself, Bob Dyln, and Beck and stuff like that. But yea he doesnt sound half bad and This one is one of my favorites.

    Well being mainstream is something they enjoy, would you rather have your important message heard by three people, or the millions who hear the mainstream.

    @Film2517 why isn’t it freedom?

    All those bands together had less political influence than RATM, so you can burn it because it’s mainstream but you can also look at it as a good thing because there revolutionary message still lives on.

    @klaudynkaaniolek
    Not everyone in the U.S.A. are greedy. But there are quite a few of them. What you see in the video take place in other countries also.
