I went on a Globus tour that hits all the highlights wasn’t that expensive — but some of the accomodations were so so — we stayed outside some of the major cities.

Perillo has a good rep don’t know how expensive they are, but they have been Italy specialists for years.

check out trafalgartours.com. they have a lot of tours and are very reasonably priced. they have budget tours as well as luxury tours so you can decide how much you want to experience. the luxury tours are pretty much exactly the same as the budget tours except instead of staying in a five star hilton hotel you’re staying in a two or three star best western motel. good luck!

I did a tour going to all those cities last spring. we went on Trafalgar tours. I’m not sure if that is how you spell it but it is pretty close. Im not sure how much it was but it was a great tour. you see so much of italy in just 1 week. the tour guides are really cool too.

We went with Insight Tours and loved it.

Check out this site and compare different tours.

    click on Italy tours.

After you do your research, go to a local travel agency for prices. We booked our Italy trip with an travel agency and saved $400 on air fare. They have connections.

Good Luck and enjoy italy. We did a 17 day tour that include Sicily and the foothills of Switzerland)

My wife and I visited Italy (Rome, Pompeii, Capri, Assisi, Ravenna, Florence,Pisa, Venice, Siena etc in the summer of 2006.) Travelled with Trafalgar on a coach tour, “Belissimo” I think (see on the net). Always find them great; reasonably economical and nothing is too much trouble.
