My betrothed currently is a perminant doc [not citizen] of Canada. We poverty to hit our ceremony here in the states, therefore, i practical for his betrothed visa. erst he gets that and comes here we, module marry. however, what are the motion restrictions? I am an american citizen and module be agitated to canada, but i desired him to be healthy to movement to the states freely as we module be temporary here frequently. How does the Green Card supply work? If administer for his naif card, module he be healthy to go to and from canada and usa after we unite within the 90 life and then he goes backwards to canada to work. I am potty and dont hit the answers…please help

I don’t think he will be able to apply for a “green card”. A green card is really a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) card. Your fiance cannot be a permanent resident of both Canada and the US. If he is going to be a permanent resident of the US, he must permanently reside in the US, not Canada. As for getting married in the US and subsequently traveling back and forth to the US, as long as he has an unexpired passport and valid visa from the US, those things shouldn’t be a problem. Of course, without details, I can’t be more specific, but with the information you have given, those are the answers.
