Of course immigration laws are discriminatory, that’s the point of having them. To weed out undesirables from entering our country. DUH!
This is the REAL world. You can’t treat everyone the same. You have to call a spade a spade and deal with people and nationalities realistically.

Probably based on the fact that all the countries have a similar “lifestyle / standard of living” and not a threat of mass invasion

Well, is it discriminatory that special interests wants to grant amnesty to 12 million illegal immigrants?
Someone originating from the waiver countries would have to wait in line and follow the rules to gain residency. That’s not only discriminatory, but racist.
amnesty sucks

even IF it is discriminatory, so what? That’s the law. America is already to lax in letting people in and not enforcing the law when they have overstayed their VISAs.

The VWP is for people wishing to visit for a short period of time. It is not for any any one that wishes to enter the U.S., and decide to stay here.
The countries that can participate in the VWP , are of a similair stature as the U.S. and most likley will not be a threat. If it was to allow people from countries such as Iraq,Libya, Mexico, ect…. then we would be in for trouble.
Deport illegals, and keep the dream alive.

Tourism or business stays of 90 days or less is VISITING, not immigration. Immigration is moving to another country permanently.
We have more immigrants (legal immigrants and illegal criminal aliens) that come from Mexico annually than any other country. Mexico is not on your list above. Do you think THAT is “discriminatory”?

Yes, thank goodness. Even with the policy in place we get plenty of undesireables staying illegally…. deport all illegals asap!

Yes, certainly. But you need to look at the countries listed, too. Most of them have a lifestyle similar to what we have. More importantly, we have big business dealings with the majority of them. And, of course, money makes the world go round.

That’s not immigration, unless they overstay their visa, intentionally or not, then they become illegal aliens. Report and Deport!
