I have an iPhone and travel to Canada frequently from the US. How will skype help me?

I have heard that using skype over wifi on your iPhone you can make free calls to another skype user. This is well and good, but what if I’m in another country (Canada) and using skype to call someone back in the US? Will the skype call still be free? And will this rack up my data roaming charges?

Yes it will be but it will rack up ur data roaming bill if u use their internet like u can also use free wifi hot spots to save on the data roaming bill.
Also not only skype others provide free calls to even landlines and mobiles.

Skype is free UNLESS you call a mobile phone or landline. You do not need tghe internet to use skype, so you wont rack up charges for being on the internet. As long as you are calling someone through your skype to there skype, its free. Even if you are calling from across the world! =D Hope i helped! Good luck! =D
