How much do have?
try finding lodging etc in that much money, the key is make more on the move.. get in touch with companies which would pay you while you stay at their places…
see this

In same ways try to stay at hostels, some hostels will give you jobs on spot. write travel reviews, permit you would need, get that sorted out first.. other things would fall in place…

If you’re going to take a VACATION for 3 months and need a job too, the answer is simple. We call it “pay-cation”. Becoming a YTB travel agent and owning your own travel website, with the same type search engines as Travelocity, Expedia and Orbitz 1.) you can book your own travel plans and destinations 2.) recieve discounts, perks, upgrades and make the entire experience a business expense for tax purposes, write the whole thing off 3.) recieve a 60% commission from every vendor you book with, i.e. car/hotel rentals, flights, and cruises. While kicking back on your “business” trip, from the comfort of your traveling office (lap-top) email family and friends to book their traveling with you and recieve the same 60% comm. when they book with you. Please refer to this site to get started http://www.ytb.com/tosoar. If you got the money to spend, get paid doing it! Make sense?

How much you would need would depend heavily on where you plan on going and what you want to do. If your country is a participant in the Visa Waiver Program you can travel visa free for up to 90 days. Otherwise you need a visa. If you are in the US as a tourist it it illegal for you to be employed in the US.
I wholeheartedly encourage you to do it if you can but bear in mind the following:
You will need to prove to the Customs and Border Protection officer that you have enough funds to stay for the 90 days, you must also prove that you plan on going home (or at least leaving the US). You’ll need a return or onward ticket, credit cards and not bring tons and tons of luggage. The CPB office has the final say on weather you can stay or be sent right home. Don’t give him/her reason to turn you right around and I doubt they will.
A 90 day trip to the US will take a fair amount of planning to say the least.
Good luck and I hope you have an excellent trip!!
