i was able to find a 1800$ round trip to Ireland from the west coast. I think that was on expedia.com

Prices are dependent on several factors-seating class, number of stops you’re flight makes, how far in advance you make the reservation, etc. I would just check sites like Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz. Search flight only, not hotel and flight. Hope this helps!
