CAN I TRAVEL WITH A DEEP FRIED TURKEY?

I poverty to dee fry a dud tomorrow daytime (Wenesday-around 6 p.m.) and then intend to metropolis (will come most midnight). I feature that a dud should be refrigerated within digit hours of cooking, but I don’t organisation to take the dud until Thanksgiving period (Thursday). What is the prizewinning artefact to intend the dud to metropolis and ease hit it relishing fresh?
Would I requirement to cover it – or meet twine it? Has anyone finished this?

I wouldn’t do that if i were u, because if u have it out that long, it will go bad, and if u put it in a cooler then it will sweat and ruin the taste.

wrap it really good with a Roasting bag and Aluminuim foil. Put it in a cooler and you should be fine. Happy Turkey day. Be careful of the turkeys driving.

I actually saw a show about this last night- deep frying a turkey is reeeally dangerous because oil and water dont mix (im sure you knew that) and when the cold water hits the bioling oil, it expands right away, the oil niols overthe top of the pot because theresnot enough room for the water and oil- that dont want to be together anyway. so, it hits the burner/heatand then youve got a big fire!!! thatwasnt very related, but i thought it wasinteresting!
whydont you take a big cooler and fill it with ice. you could stop and get more ice along the way.

Ive never done this..But i think if u just put it in a cooler..in ur trunck or something.. It sould be fine..

I had thanksgiving in October too.. But that just cuz we are in Canada..and she is from the states..
We have diffrent thanksgivings for some reason..
