The state the World is in today everyone who travels should have a passport. If a plane gets diverted somewhere you will need it or if there is some legal problem you will need it. Have a safe and enjoyable trip. If you have any other question contact your Governments Foreign Affair or similar department.

If you are unsure then you should contact their embassy with any questions you have. It is the embassy that issues visas so they’ll be able to help you with your concerns.
